No. The backing already has anti-slip dots built in, so it grips hardwood, tile, and laminate floors without anything extra.
How thick is it really?
The pile height is 1.5 inches (about 4 cm). It's plush and soft underfoot but not bulky โ doors swing over it easily.
Will it shed a lot when it's new?
